Is the Alba a second-hand or used backpack?

No. Every Alba is made new from full grain crazy horse leather, an oil-immersed tanning that gives the surface its worn, already-travelled look from the first day. The marks it picks up afterwards are yours: the leather darkens and creases where you handle it, which is why it is often mistaken for a true vintage piece.

What fits into a 10 L backpack?

A day, not a trip. The interior offers a main compartment with a laptop compartment, a zipper pocket, a slip pocket and a cell phone pocket, plus a flap pocket outside for the things you reach for most. Wallet, book, water bottle, a light layer: it carries the essentials and stops there.

Can I carry a laptop in it?

There is a padded laptop compartment, but the bag itself measures 36 × 28 × 9 cm : a compact laptop or a tablet slides in, a large work machine does not. If you carry a big laptop every day, pick a bigger bag.

Is this vintage leather backpack for women or for men?

It is unisex and cut compact. On some shoulders it reads as a vintage purse-style backpack, on others as a classic knapsack; the retro format does the work either way.

Can it come in the cabin on a flight?
