Crazy horse is full-grain leather immersed in oils and waxes after tanning. Surface scratches displace the wax rather than cut the hide, so most marks fade when you rub them with a finger or a soft cloth. Over months of use the dark brown burnishes where you handle it, and every folio develops its own patina.

Both names describe the same object. A leather padfolio usually refers to a zippered folder built around a writing pad, which is exactly what the FLORENCE is: an A4 pad sleeve, an organiser panel and a zip-around closure in one 0.8 kg case.

Very little is needed. Wipe dust off with a dry cloth and rub small scratches out by hand. Once or twice a year, work a thin coat of neutral leather wax into the surface to feed the oils. Keep it away from long soaks: crazy horse handles rain spots, not immersion.

The FLORENCE comes in dark brown only. The oil-immersed finish means no two pieces are identical: expect natural shade variation and light marks from the start. They are part of the leather, not defects.
