More than you would guess. Two main compartments with slit and zippered interior pockets sort brushes from bottles, and the exterior zippered pocket takes what you reach for first. At 25 cm long, it swallows one traveller's full kit.
Is it waterproof?+
It is leather, so let us be precise. The full grain hide handles splashes, steam and a damp counter without trouble: wipe it dry after the morning rush and it will not complain. Soaking is another matter, so keep it out of the shower itself.
Does it travel well in a carry-on or duffle?+

How do I care for it?+
Not much is asked. Wipe it with a soft cloth after damp mornings and let it dry away from direct heat. Over time the leather darkens and takes a patina where you grab it: that is the material keeping score, not wearing out.
