Best backpack I’ve ever had

I am in LOVE. The quality of this backpack is absolutely outstanding- sturdy waxed cotton, perfectly sized for all my electronics and ideal for uni. First backpack (and I had way too many to count) that feels practically tailored to my back and shoulders. Feels secure and is SO comfortable. Bear in mind the flaps are magnetic- I think thats a brilliant solution of practicality vs aesthetic (I once had a full buckle backpack and it was an absolute nightmare to open and close). It has a smooth zipper under the flap so it works perfectly.

Will absolutely come back to shop at Eiken if i ever need any other items- much much recommended.

Worth mentioning- I am based in the UK and i was aware that the shipping will take anywhere between 10 and 15 days to arrive but the backpack arrived within 7 days and I was so stoked, phenomenal experience alltogether

Beautiful, excellent-quality backpack.

I love the backpack. It is very spacious; an 800ml water bottle fits perfectly inside. My 16-inch laptop fits easily, with room to spare on the sides. The material is stiff because it is treated for light rain protection. It has plenty of space, though not enough to serve as carry-on luggage.

Good Quality Backpack

This is my first canvas backpack and I wasn't disappointed with this one. It is spacious and has good amount of pockets. The leather is genuine but this type scratches easily, hope it will look good over time. They are also very responsive to my concerns. Got it after 5 weeks tho, but I think it's the local courier's fault.

Great backpack!

Big and strong backpack perfect for adventures (I've brought it to the mountains) but also for school or university. Pc fits in. A reusable water bottle and a small umbrella fit on the sides. Pockets are comfortable too. Highly recommended!

Is the Göteborg waterproof?

The material is water-resistant, not waterproof. It can withstand light rain and splashes, but avoid heavy or prolonged rain and immersion. Protect electronics separately, wipe off moisture and let the bag dry naturally away from direct heat.

What fits in its 18 litres?

A 15.6-inch laptop in the padded interlayer, plus a notebook, charger, paperback and lunch in the main compartment. The front pocket takes a wallet or sunglasses, and the two side pockets hold a flask or a folded umbrella — enough for work, study or a full day out.

How secure is it for daily commuting?

The main opening has a zip beneath the leather flap, with magnetic buckle fastenings. Keep valuables secured and the bag in sight in crowded places.

How do I care for the canvas and leather?

Spot-clean the canvas with a damp cloth and air-dry it, then re-wax when the fabric looks dry or lightens at the creases. Wipe the crazy horse leather and feed it occasionally with a little balm; natural marks and a deepening patina are part of its character.

What colours does it come in, and is it unisex?

The Göteborg has a unisex design and comes in four muted colours: emerald, dark grey, coffee and army green.
