DESIGNED AROUND YOUR DAY

Space for work. Character for everywhere else.

A padded place for your laptop, pockets for the smaller things and leather that takes on the marks of everyday life.

THE HELSINKI

Canvas, leather and a little character.

The cotton canvas body meets a full-grain leather flap and warm metal hardware. Natural creases and marks give each bag its own finish, with more character as the leather is used.

A PLACE FOR YOUR DAY

Laptop in. Essentials close.

A padded laptop sleeve sits inside the main zipped compartment. Smaller internal pockets keep loose items together, while the front, side and rear pockets put everyday essentials within reach.

THE DETAILS

A classic look. Easy access.

The leather straps conceal magnetic fastenings, so you can open the flap without undoing the buckles. Adjust the shoulder straps to suit your carry, or lift it by the top handle.

Stylish and Versatile

I purchased this bag after my primary work backpack began falling apart at the seam holding the strap to the body of the bag. This was not something I was able to patch up, unfortunately. What a delight to see a bag where not only is the stitching strong and well-placed, but there are even rivets at some of the major stress points where a bag's stitching is most likely to fail. The magnetic fastenings are strong and don't pop open too easily, which makes them feel secure. The contrast of the brown leather and the light blue canvas are aslo very attractive and I feel more confident with this bag in a professional setting than I had with my simple black backpack.

The best bag I’ve ever owned

This backpack was a replacement for a work bag I’ve used for over 10 years and I couldn’t be happier with it: the look, the feel, the practicality. All stunning!

Great Backpack!

Where i live, we call well made things, that are thicker, heavier, more durable than they have to be, skookum. This beautiful, rugged, biiig, solid backpack is skookum. I love it completely.

Useful bag

This is a lovely bag, very useful and a good size. However, I was a little disappointed with the colour which appeared to be a much darker green in the marketing photos.

Good to know

A question about this piece? Ask us

Will my laptop fit?

Helsinki has a padded sleeve for laptops up to 15.6 inches. Screen size alone does not determine fit: check your device’s outer dimensions. The bag measures 42 × 30 × 12 cm overall.

How does personalisation work?

Choose the embossing option and enter up to 10 characters, including spaces and punctuation. The text is embossed on the leather flap exactly as entered. The initials shown in the photographs are examples.

What does the leather look like in person?

The full-grain cowhide leather has a distressed finish. Natural marks, creases and variations in colour are part of its appearance. Screens and lighting can also affect how the colours look.

How should I care for the bag?

Wipe gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Let it air-dry away from direct heat. Avoid soaking or machine washing, and test leather-care products on a hidden area first.
